WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP – A sun-kissed sky illuminated the turf at Tom Brown Field on Monday, June 17, 2024, as Washington Township High 天美视频’s Class of 2024 received their diplomas during the school’s 59th annual commencement exercises. More than 500 students graduated amid the pomp and circumstances of a nearly perfect evening.

After welcome remarks from executive principal Ray Anderson, Summa Cum Laude graduates Lily Engelien and Olivia Nelson led the ensemble in the Pledge of Allegiance. The WTHS choir performed the Star-Spangled Banner and the annual commencement song, “Moving On,” as arranged by teacher Amy Melson. Then, the Senior Class Executive Board provided remarks reflecting on the senior year that was.

Class Summa Cum Laude graduates Emily Westenberger, Anna Tobler, and Chelsea Petro followed with touching speeches, encouraging their classmates to both remember the good times they had, while also seeking to achieve even greater things in their futures.

After superintendent of schools Dr. Eric Hibbs presented the class to the Board of Education, seniors Talia Morrison and Khang Nguyen led the roll call of graduates.
